Be lagaam azaadi is what Pakistani media is enjoying. But like their politician counterparts the media has also been corrupted by various sources. The Armed Forces do follow a strict conduct of loyalty to their colleagues but I think that the Civilian Governments in Pakistan have themselves to blame for falling victim to the Coups. The politicians have always carried out unashamedly corrupt and shambolic policies and pushed the country to utter chaos and even to losing more than half of the country. Also please do not go about making the Laal Masjid occupants as some kind of angelic figures.. Just ask yourself 1. Was there stockpiles of ammunition inside the mosque? 2. Were the Chinese workers from Islamabad beauty/massage parlors abducted and brought to the Laal Masjid?? Did the son-in-law of the said Mosque’s Mullah joined the rebellion in Swat and then absconded to Afghanistan? Is the very same Mullah not involved with the TTP negotiations?? If the answer to these questions is yes ..then Musharraf was right to carried out the clean up operation. Pakistanis must stop being confused about what direction they want to take. They have lost their focus of establishing a fair just and transparent form of governance that would move Pakistan towards a strong and modern state and embarked upon the wild goose chase of following up achievable conflicting ideals that have resulted in nothing but disaster. Pakistanis have lost their reputation and trust both in the east and the west…they are neither able to protect the Muslims nor other minorities. Bribery corruption and destructive activities of the politicians and state institutions have turned the country into an Anarchy!! Each day it is getting from bad to worse.. Is there a point where we can turn back and move in the right direction? Do we even know what is the right direction?? Are we bent upon losing our hard gained freedom and liberty??
