well it certainly is an emotional aspect of life that has been highlighted but i do not see why we would limit and promote others to limit their pusuit of dreams and wishes to the material world. i am sure i may offend the readers here but that is certainly not my intention but i would rather like to view the contents of the article in this critical manner. by forming groups like the “make a wish” organisation don’t you think we are participating in an effort to bring the love of this world in to our hearts and when we live our lives for this cause on a daily basis as had been recommended in the end of the article we are bound to promote the ills of sensual gratification in ouselves.
i am trying to point towards the better of pusuits, we should certainly live our lives as it were to end tomorrow but without carrying the load of worldliness and rather with an aim to secure our lives hereafter for the better; as it is then that one would be free of any of the shortcomings of this worl-death illness misery etc.
***for those who may take me wrong about not providing for the happiness of those kids who are fatally ill, i would just say that one should certainly do good by all manners to aid and bring to their lives but falling into the traps of promoting and limiting ones desires and wishes to the pursuit of this meagre world is detrimental to our quickly eroding cultured society and the muslim ummah as a whole.
